Your Journey and Course Listing:

Exclusively with Kansas Wesleyan University, we present a 2 credit hour course and Service Learning Journey to remember! This is course listed as INTD 250.

Competition is an activity that crosses many boundaries. No matter if one is interested in sports or issues associated with the natural or social sciences, these areas cannot be fully understood without an appreciation for the nature of competition. Thus, because of the overwhelming importance of the competitive drive in a multitude of areas, this course will explore the complexities associated with this topic in, appropriately enough, one of the most diverse locations in the world. As we will discover, competition can lead to positive and negative outcomes, greater inclusivity and exclusivity, as well as a potentially life-changing experience while serving others in Costa Rica!
